Misty has served in key roles at San Diego International Airport (SAN), including overseeing TSA control points, CCTV surveillance operations, and managing airport communications centers as a trained dispatcher. Her ability to remain calm under pressure and lead with precision has made her highly effective in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
As Account Manager, Misty is responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract performance—serving as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring compliance with service agreements, and managing a large team of security personnel. She plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, developing staff, and maintaining the high standards of service Guard West is known for.

Before joining Guard West, Laura spent six years at Sycuan Casino in a customer service role where she was dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction and delivering consistently exceptional service. In addition to her frontline responsibilities, she served as a liaison between upper management and hotel operations, playing a key role in facilitating communication, coordination, and problem-solving across departments, particularly within transportation management. Her experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments sharpened her skills in interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and operational support—skills she now brings to her role in Human Resources.
Laura is responsible for the full lifecycle of employee support, from onboarding to performance management. Her work ensures that the company’s HR systems run efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
